When you need to replace your vehicles oxygen/lambda sensor there is no question that you will get the best fit and performance from the sensors built by Bosch.
A lambda sensor's normal life span is 30,000 to 60,000 miles but as the sensor ages it becomes sluggish and will eventually produce an unchanging signal or no signal at all. When this happens the engine management warning light may come on and the engine might experience drivability problems caused by an overly rich fuel condition. Poor fuel economy, high CO and HC emissions, erratic/surging/ poor idle and or hesitation during acceleration are common complaints.
A faulty oxygen sensor can waste 20% of your fuel
The sensor could fail prematurely because of the following
RICH FUEL MIXTURE:
HIGH OIL CONSUMPTION:
ANTIFREEZE CONTAMINATION:
SILICONE:
Please note:
Sometimes an apparent lambda sensor problem is not really a faulty sensor. An air leak in the intake or exhaust manifold or even a fouled spark plug for example will cause the lambda sensor to give a false lean signal. The sensor reacts only to the presence or absence of oxygen in the exhaust. It has no way of knowing where the extra oxygen came from. So keep that in mind when diagnosing oxygen/lambda sensor problems.
We would need your vehicle reg or the full Bosch part number off of the part so that we can supply you with the correct one.
We only supply GENUINE BOSCH lambda/oxygen sensors.
Most parts supplied will come direct to you the next working day.
